by Panache Events | Blog, News
At Panache Events, we cherish the opportunity to inspire the next generation of event professionals. Recently, Allison Gilchrest and Ryan O’Donnell led a workshop at Florida International University (FIU), sharing their expertise in event design with enthusiastic students.
Sharifa Wilkinson, who played a pivotal role in organizing the workshop, praised our team’s dedication:
“Working with the Panache Events team, Allison Gilchrest and Ryan O’Donnell, was a wonderful experience. Their passion for events shone through in every detail, and they went above and beyond to create a memorable experience for FIU students. They shared valuable insights about Panache Events, Event Source, and So Cool Events and brought in real-world items from their product catalogue like tables, chairs, linen, dinnerware, glassware, and flatware, allowing the students to design stunning, inviting, and themed tablescapes. The Panache team was warm, welcoming, and incredibly generous, providing a unique and inspiring experience that left a lasting impression on both me and the students.”
The workshop covered the essentials of event design, focusing on selecting and coordinating various elements to create cohesive setups. Allison and Ryan provided insights into current industry trends and creative processes, giving students a practical understanding of event planning.
The Panache team’s visit was not just educational but also inspirational. By sharing our high standards and passion for event design, Allison and Ryan instilled excitement and confidence in the students, many of whom expressed a renewed enthusiasm for pursuing careers in the event industry. We also focused on our core values: Consistency, Adaptability, Reliability, and Teamwork.
At Panache Events, we are proud to support the growth of future event professionals and look forward to more opportunities to mentor and inspire.
